The Student Assessment Module is designed to support class assessments and report cards. It provides a simple and effective way for coaches to produce individual progress reports for their classes. This feature is particularly useful for:
- Swim school assessments
- Tennis progress reports
- Enhancing parent–coach communication

📂 Admin Portal – Managing Templates (Admin)
Templates define the structure of assessment reports.
Access:
Navigate to: Admin → General Settings → Assessment Templates → Manage
Assessment Templates
Assessment templates support the following question types:
- Multiple choice (radio button)
- Yes/No
- Comment
Questions can be grouped under subheadings. You can also define the Outcome of the assessment (e.g. Pass / Not Pass) to indicate whether a student can progress to the next level.
🔐 Admin Portal – Coach Workflow
Coaches use the Admin Portal to create and manage assessment reports for students.
- Log into the Admin Portal.
- You can start an assessment either:
- From the Student Contact page, or
- Directly via a Class page.
📝 Single Assessment for a Student

- Navigate to the relevant student or class.
- Select “New Assessment”.
- Choose the relevant template.

- Enter responses for each question (choice, yes/no, comment).
- Click Submit when complete.
- Update the status from DRAFT to Ready for Review.
- The Ready for Review status indicates the assessment is awaiting review by admin staff or head coach.
📝 Assessing the Whole Class
This feature allows coaches to complete assessments for all students in a class efficiently.

- The coach logs into the Admin Portal.
- Navigate to the relevant Class Details page.
- Go to the Assessments tab.
- Assign the appropriate assessment template to the class.
- The Assessment Group Update page will open.
- The first question will be shown with a list of all students in the class.
- The coach can enter answers for each student directly.

- Click Next Question to proceed to the next question.
- Once all questions have been answered:Return to the Class Assessments page.
- Change the status from “Draft” to “Ready for Review”.
- Click Next Question to proceed to the next question.
🔍 Admin Staff / Head Coach Review and Finalisation
The admin staff or head coach can review assessments marked Ready for Review.
- Navigate to Contact → Assessments.
- Review the listed assessments (filter by date or status).
- Select the assessments ready to be shared with parents.
- Click “Finalise” to finalise all selected assessment reports.
✅ Once Finalised, the report becomes visible to parents in the Customer Portal.
👪 Customer Portal – Parent Access
Parents can view assessment reports for their children through the Customer Portal.
🔹 Viewing Reports
- Log into the Customer Portal.
- Go to the Assessments section.
- Finalised reports for each child are listed and viewable.
