Recording payment – creating invoice

Steps 2-4 involve guiding you through creating a new invoice. If you already know how to make invoices, feel free to skip them.

  1. Click “Invoices” in the sidebar to the very left of the screen.
  2. Click “New Invoice” in the toolbar.
  3. Now fill in the necessary details for your invoice in the text boxes.
  4. Click “Save”.
  5. Now click “Payment…” in the toolbar.
  6. In the text box labeled “Amount”, enter the amount you received from your client.
  7. Click “OK”. Now that amount has been deducted from your client’s outstanding amount.
